President elect Chris Perret is filling in for Karen Blewett as she is on vacation. He welcomed everyone to the regular meeting.

On Jan 8th Jace Anderson will make a presentation.
The last fellowship at the par 3 had 20 people attend.

Rotary Presentations:
Chris made a presentation of the need for a new audio visual equipment. He spoke about a new system called the Redcat access system and sent the full presentation to each of us.
He did make a notice of motion to increase the budget for a new sound system of $2,500.00 to $4,364.00 and purchase the new system. The motion was seconed by Terry C and Denise H.
A new sound system would enhance our meeting by good discussions,questions, answers, information sharing and the fact that all members could hear the details of our meetings.

2018 District Conference will be May 4 - 6, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Calgary.
DATE FOR CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION: FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2018, at the Medicine Hat Lodge
RI Convention - Toronto, June 23 - 27, 2018. The Club has agreed to provide an incentive of $500 for new members and $200 for existing members to attend the RI Conference.

Christmas Project:
Heather Bach advised that the Christmas stockings will be delivered to Cypress View Lodge (Teeoda Lodge) on Monday December 18th. A group of Rotarians will be asked to go and hand out the stockings. As well, at a future date, Rotary will visit St Joseph's home to deliver Christmas cheer there as well.
