Election of 2017 - 2018 Executive and other business
Past President, Dave Panabaker was happy to present the new slate of officers for the 2017-2018 Rotary Year.

Dave thanked all the members who considered letting their names stand for the new executive.  Part of the service of Rotary is serving the club.  He's also happy that this "last duty" of being Past President is now complete.  He also had a special thank you for Doug Fleming for his assistance in providing the qualification spreadsheet so the candidates for President are easy to pick up and as well as letting his name stand as Secretary for another year. He also thanked Gail Halderman for being treasurer for any year and for all the decades he's done that job.

Dave did suggest that both those executive positions should have Rotarians "in- training", to have some backup for those roles.  For the Rotary year 2017 - 2018 Karen Blewett will be President (our Centennial year) and Chris Perret will be President-elect.  Uwe Krickhahn will enjoy the year as Past President.

Karen Blewett also gave us a look at our Logo for the Centennial year and it can be used in following years with minor modification.

The Rotary Vision and Mission Gala on April 28th 2017.

Dave Panabaker advised that all senior committee positions have been filled. These committees will meet on January 10th, and 31st to fill in their plans.

Jenna Raimbault advised that the tickets will go on sale... online on Jan 15th. Ticket packages will be given out for sale by all members.

The price of a ticket is $100.00 and we hope to sell some 350 tickets.

A full outline of the venue, entertainment, etc was presented.
