Mentoring Presentation by Membership
Jenny Hetherington, Director of Membership for our club did a short presentation on mentoring for new club members and the value that can bring to their connections to our club.  A sample letter which Don Reid, as the Rotarian in charge of mentors, will be sending out to prospective members was provided on the tables.  Jenny encouraged anyone who was approached about being a mentor to say "yes" and to actively work to increase the education and engagement of their partner in the Rotary experience.

Active mentoring can make the club a more friendly and approachable environment, and will help new members feel comfortable at meetings and when they need to ask questions.

The mentoring drive will continue until all new members have an established Rotarian partner.

Jenny also provided a short presentation on her home based business which buy's and sells books on Amazon.ca.
