Rotary Information:
President Uwe encouraged all Rotarians in this centennial year of the Rotary Foundation to make a contribution to the Foundation and towards Polio plus.
Kitt Brand advised that the annual Waterton Peace Park Celebration, will be held on the Canadian side this year, in the Waterton townsite. Hotels are scare, so book early if you wish to enjoy this weekend. It is scheduled for Sept 22 - 24.
Rotary Presentations:
AG Dave Panabaker was happy to present new Rotarians Shann Snedden and Dominique Hirsch with certificates for 100 Foundation points, a special incentive this year because of the Centennial towards their first Paul Harris Fellowship. Welcome to Rotary and congratulations.

Minute People:
Dave Stalwick is chairing the bingo on Friday evening, and needs two more volunteers.
Roger Roy brought in the liquor "heels" from Friday evening and they are available for sale, cheap...the money goes to the Centennial Celebration.
PDG Sandy Mackay took some time to explain "why" he wasn't in Volgograd, Russia. Unfortunately due to a "technicality" involving a passport that took a swim years ago he was denied a visa, to his great disappointment (Jane not so much!!). This will give him the opportunity to attend District Conference in Red Deer this week.
Dave Panabaker thanked all those who worked on, supported and attended the Rotary Centennial Celebration on Friday evening. We had a great kickoff to our Centennial year, attended by approximately 275 people and hopefully raised a significant portion of the cost of our Centennial project. A presentation will come before the club when the survey results and the financials are completed.
Al Garden reminded Rotary golfers that our first "after Rotary" golf event will be next Monday, May 1st. Lets hope for nice weather.
President Uwe mentioned that Jenny Hetherington had completed six afghans which will be donated to the Medicine Hat Women's Shelter in the name of Rotary. It will hopefully be an opportunity for a photo op.
