DESCRIPTION:The Program Committee of our Club has organized a visit to the 
 Agriculture Discovery Centre of the Irvine School. Please join us! It is l
 ikely to be a fun\, interesting outing! The Irvine School has about 380 st
 udents\, from K to Grade 9. All are\, to the extent they are able\, involv
 ed in the Agri Discovery Centre. The Centre started in 2021\, with livesto
 ck added and crops planted in 2022. It has a Board of Directors\, all Irvi
 ne School students. The main purpose of the Centre\, "A Place to Grow"\, i
 s to interest students in careers in agriculture. TRANSPORT: Car pooling f
 rom the MH Lodge parking area\, behind the Lodge DATE: Monday 26 August TI
 ME: Leave the Lodge for Irvine at 11:30\, after car pooling organized COST
 : Gas\, if you drive your own car\, and your own lunch PROGRAM: Nicole Neu
 bauer will show us around the Agri Centre from 12:00 for about 45-60 minut
 es. We will then head for the Pub at the Irvine Hotel\, ordering (and payi
 ng for!) whatever you would like\, for lunch. As Ken Zollner has pointed o
 ut\, there's a great museum in Irvine\, so a visit in that direction could
  be fun\, after enjoying lunch at the Pub. WHO IS INVITED? In addition to 
 yourself\, please register family and friends! They will be most welcome!
