Uwe introduced Sarah and asked her to come forward for her classification talk.
Ms Sarah Bowman:
Sarah grew up in Medicine Hat and her parents and her sister still live here. She has a dog named ENZO.
Sarah graduated from McCoy High School in 2004. She started her post secondary education in Calgary for one semester at the Health Sciences center and then decided to attend school at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. She was able to withstand the cold winters and of course the summer with the monster mosquitoes. She achieved her under graduate degree and then her law degree in Winnipeg. Her desire to return to Alberta brought her back to Calgary where is articled and became an associate for the Calgary law firm of McLeod Dixon and worked along with 180 other lawyers. The never ending search for billable hours soon lost it's appeal as she wanted to be more of a family and friendly lawyer. Her search for a family friendly law firm brought her back to Medicine Hat and an interview with Bolton Bishop. Within 5 minutes she knew that this was the type of firm she wanted to be part of and joined the team and later became a partner in the now titled Bolton, Bishop Bowman law firm. Sarah now serves a full array of clients and as this full service lawyer she continues to and help her many clients as well as being a valued part of the families.

Sarah is happy with her puppy Enzo and still cheers for her favorite ball team "The Blue Jays, and cheers for the Riders in the hope they will win the grey cup some day ....soon.
Sarah confessed that she did not know the song "God save the Queen" but has learned to like it after the many meetings and can even sing along with "some" of the song. She is not a fan of social media, does not like 0's but any other number is fine. She tries very hard to always answer her phone so that she does not have phone messages. Sarah does like music and confessed to having over 7,000 songs stored on her computer.
Sarah answered a number of questions.
It was an excellent presentation and we are very lucky to have Sarah as a fellow Rotarian.
