  • Former exchange student Teddy spoke about the impact her exchange in 2013 - 2014 had on her, and prompted her to go into medicine in Thailand.  She remembers all the warmth, kindness and love she experienced in her exchange and related several examples her work with deaf students and patients at the clinic where she has been able to give back.  She described her Rotary exchange year as the beginning of her "life" for people.
  • DG Rick Istead was happy to hear that the students enjoyed their Adventures in Citizenship trip, and advised that a new "adventure" has joined the series.  Titled "Adventures in Human Rights", and centered on the new Human Rights museum in Winnipeg, it may offer a different experience for students in years to come.
