Remarks of the President

Treasurer Gail Halderman continues on the hot seat for the month of April. He welcomed everyone to the meeting and advised that we are still working on the sound system, so it needs to be considered a work in progress.

In lieu of a classification talk, Dave Panabaker gave us a tour of our website including access to our individual RI account.

Next meeting on April 25th features a business meeting.

Gail also mentioned that our next Rotary Board meeting will be Thursday April 21, at Murray Chev Boardroom, beginning at 7:00 pm.

Minute People:

Terry Cooper advised that Team Free Wheel will be getting back into action. Saamis Immigration has request 5 bikes and the MH Catholic School Division has requested 30 bikes.

Dave Panabaker had a couple of minutes:

Tuesday April 19, 5:30pm: Performance by our 2022 Rosebowl winner, Laec Lorentzen. The performance will take place at Saint Barnabas church Partners and guests welcome, please be "on time" (5:45) as the performance will start at 6:00 pm. Emailed invitations have gone out through Clubrunner
Wednesday, April 20: Next Rotary Bingo 5:00 pm start. A full slate of volunteer has been obtained
Saturday April 23, Highway Clean-up: Our annual highway cleanup, next to the MH College may be organized, followed by a walk along the Sunrise Rotary Trail that circles the College.
Saturday 14 May: Hands-on opportunity to serve – at Prairie Gleaners. Four hours, partners welcome; Dan Kammerer organizing the event.
Sat 4 June: Mavericks Game: Dugout deck seating reserved for Rotarians. 25 tickets available at $35 (which will buy a beverage and a burger). The game starts at 7pm.
