The Inter-Act Theatre Society Film Festival takes place at the historic Monarch Theatre in Medicine Hat from June 1 to June 5. The five-day event features free daily screenings of documentary films focused on real-world challenges, such as trauma, resilience, and community bridging.

Tuesday, June 2: Bridging The Gap – Highlights newcomer families integrating into Canada.
Wednesday, June 3: These Four Walls – Explores mental health and difficult life circumstances.
Thursday, June 4: The Fruit Machine – Documents the Canadian government's historical discrimination against LGBT civil servants.
Friday, June 5: In My Own Time – Closes out the festival with a focus on personal empowerment
